Shaping Our Past With Clay

August 19, 2011, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

How significant are all those clay artifacts that archaeologists find during an excavation? Join Jacquey Ryan as she discusses the importance of clay objects in the daily life of former inhabitants, how they were constructed and how archaeologists use them when establishing a date for the site.
