On July 15th, 1815, France's infamous "Little Emperor" Napoleon
Bonaparte surrendered to the HMS Bellerophon, the English
Navy vessel that would carry him to exile in St. Helena. According
to local folklore, the ship's officers toasted the event with
Newman's port wine from Newfoundland. Come down and help us re-live
this historic event with a toast to the Queen!
Enjoy a free sample of Newman's celebrated port, or grape juice
for our younger visitors.
