Point Amour Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site
L'Anse Amour Road, off Highway 510, 10 minutes north of Forteau on the Straits of Belle Isle, Newfoundland and Labrador. How to get here.
How much time do you have?
1 hour: Climb the lighthouse tower and tour the exhibits.
2-3 hours: Pick up a picnic in Forteau or L'Anse au Loup. At the site, climb the tower, tour the exhibits and then hike along the coast to the HMS Raleigh and burial mound. Find a spot to spread your blanket and unpack your sandwiches.
