Hiking Crout's Way

A guided wilderness hike. Ticketed event, outdoor activity.

September 8, 2019, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for an adventure to Russells Point and Dildo Island.

The Russell's Point site was discovered in 1988 during an archaeological survey conducted to locate a Beothuk camp visited by John Guy on 26 October, 1612 and described by him in his journal.

While Dildo Island is not inhabited today, people have been drawn to this remarkable place for thousands of years. Representing many cultures extending over a 3,000-year span, Dildo Island has played an invaluable role in our province's prehistory and history.

September 7, 2018, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Includes a picnic lunch and transportation to the island. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to Russell's Point and Dildo.
Cost $35
